About this experience
Explore southern Jordan independently with private transportation to Petra, or select the extended Petra and Wadi Rum route. Your driver provides point-to-point transportation, onboard Wi-Fi, bottled water, and waiting at official access points while you visit the destinations on your own. Admission, licensed guiding, Jeep tours, and desert activities are not included. The Petra-only option does not include Wadi Rum; Wadi Rum is included only when the Petra and Wadi Rum option is selected.

Itinerary and highlights
Travel from the selected pickup point to the Petra Visitor Center, where you will explore independently. Your driver waits at the designated public parking area. Admission and licensed guiding are not included. The time available inside Petra depends on the selected option, traffic, site hours, and the confirmed vehicle-service duration. Petra by Night and other optional tickets must be arranged separately.
For the Petra and Wadi Rum option, continue to the Wadi Rum Visitor Center or a preconfirmed meeting point on a paved public road. Explore independently within the 14-hour vehicle-service window. Rushmore vehicles remain on public and paved roads only. Admission, Jeep or 4x4 tours, camp transfers, camel rides, and other desert activities are not included and must be arranged separately.
Meeting and pickup information
- Pickup is available from one confirmed location within Amman. Please provide the exact pickup address, a reachable mobile or WhatsApp number, and the number and size of all bags. Your driver will contact you one day before departure. Where stopping is restricted, pickup will be at the nearest safe, legal meeting point. Service time begins at the confirmed pickup time.
