Itinerary and highlights

Begin your day with a walking tour of the Old City, stopping periodically to marvel at ancient attractions like the Citadel building, the Roman Theater, the Temple of Hercules and downtown souks. Explore the marketplace, where you can find everything from handmade crafts to traditional sweets and pastries.

Start your tour with Ajlun Castle (Qal'at Ar-Rabad). It was built by one of Saladin's generals to control the iron mines of Ajlun, and to deter the Franks from invading Ajlun. Spend your afternoon in Jerash, one of the best-preserved Roman cities in the Middle East. Wander among the ancient ruins, stopping at noteworthy sites like Hadrian's Arch and other best-preserved Sites.

Depart from your hotel and head through Kingsway to the town of Madaba, where you'll find the Madaba Map - the oldest preserved mosaic map of the Holy Land - and other Byzantine artwork then continue to Mount Nebo, the holy place where Moses once looked out across the Promised Land for the first time.

Today you will drive to Karak, an ancient Crusader stronghold, Kerak sits 900m above sea level and lies inside the walls of the old city. The city today is home to around 170,000 people and continues to boast a number of restored 19th century Ottoman buildings,
Restaurants, places to stay, and the like.

We may offer you as Optional activity Petra by Night where you will have the opportunity to enjoy the Petra Night Show: this event is a magical way to see part of the rock city by candlelight and explore the old city. This breathtaking experience starts by walking the entire Siq to the Treasury, lit with over 1,500 candles to bring the major attraction due to the spectacular view it has.

After breakfast you have the full day to explore the fantastic UNESCO and World Heritage site of Petra. The ancient city of Petra is one of Jordan’s national treasures and by far its best known tourist attraction. Petra is the legacy of the Nabateans, an industrious Arab people who settled in southern Jordan more than 2,000 years ago. Admired then for its refined culture, massive architecture and ingenious complex of dams and water channels, Petra is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site
The site opens at 6am and you can enter any time (free entry fees if you have the Jordan Pass). You will walk with you through the winding Siq to the famous Treasury, past the Street of facades and rock cut theatre. Then you have free time to perhaps climb up to the High Place of Sacrifice, or visit the Royal Tombs. If you have enough energy then climb the 800 steps to the Monastery.

After getting your fill of Petra, continue south to the wilderness of Wadi Rum, a sweeping expanse of rolling desert known for the prominent basalt slabs at its center. Enjoy an evening of Bedouin hospitality at your campsite before falling asleep under the stars.
Now it is time for you to enjoy the beautiful night skies.
Located in one of the most beautiful parts of Jordan, Rum Sky allows visitors to enjoy the starry nights of Wadi Rum.

Take advantage of your last morning in Jordan. Enjoy the sea view in the morning.
In the noon you will head to QAIA to check in for your departing flight.
( you have to be in the Airport at least 3 hrs. prior to Arrival)
